Newport News, Va. – The Atlantic 10 has today announced the conference schedules for its 14 member institutions, including the Fordham women's basketball program, with just game times for most contests still yet to be determined. Otherwise, the Rams' 2017-18 schedule is complete with today's announcement. Fordham will play two televised contests, both home and away against Saint Louis, and will begin league play on New Year's Eve at home against one of last year's regular season co-champions, George Washington. Â

The Rams will open their conference slate at home in three of their first four contests. After playing the Colonials that Sunday, the team will travel up to Amherst to play Massachusetts in midweek on Wednesday, January 3
rd, before returning home for home dates against Saint Louis, to be televised on Saturday, January 6
th at 1 p.m. on CBS Sports Network, and the following Wednesday, January 10
th, against Davidson. Fordham will then alternate home and away contests for the next two weeks, including two trips to Richmond, Va. in a seven-day span, first at VCU on Sunday, January 14
th, before traveling to Richmond the following Sunday. In between those two dates, the Rams will host defending A-10 champion Dayton on Wednesday, January 17
th.

Fordham returns to the Bronx to host St. Bonaventure on Thursday, January 25
th, before a two-game road swing at George Mason and Saint Louis on Sunday, January 28
th and Wednesday, January 31
st, respectively, to round out the month's schedule. The contest against the Bilikens is scheduled for a noon tipoff and will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network.

February begins with Rhode Island visiting the Rose Hill Gym on Sunday, February 4
th, before getting that week off heading into a road date at Davidson on Saturday, February 10
th. Fordham will return home to host La Salle in the Bronx on Tuesday, February 13
th, before finishing the road portion of the conference schedule with a lengthy stretch of Dayton and Duquesne over a four-day span. The Rams will fly to face Dayton on Sunday, February 18
th, before heading to Duquesne that Wednesday, February 21
st. The regular season will end in the Bronx against Saint Joseph's that Saturday, February 24
th.

The 2018 Atlantic 10 Championship will play out like last year's revamped version, with first-round match-ups determined by seeding and played at the higher seeded programs' home sites. The top two overall seeds will earn a bye into the quarterfinals, which will be played, once again, at the Richmond Coliseum between March 2-4.

All of Fordham's home matches this season will be streamed live on the A-10 Digital Network. The semifinals of the A-10 Championship will appear on CBS Sports Network, and the final will be broadcast live at noon on ESPNU.

The Rams finished the 2016-17 season with a 22-12 overall record and an 11-5 mark in conference play, finishing fifth in the regular season standings, before falling to Saint Louis in the quarterfinals of last year's A-10 Tournament. Fordham returns three of its five starters, including First Team All-Conference and All-Defense honoree senior forward
G'mrice Davis, plus junior guard
Lauren Holden, and junior forward
Mary Goulding. Fordham also welcomes a large influx of talent to the Bronx in eight true freshman, plus redshirt freshman
Bre Cavanaugh.

th, at 5 p.m.
