GLEN ALLEN, VA --The Fordham women's basketball team got a 24-point showing from the bench, but fell 68-60 to the Saint Louis Billikens at Henrico Sports & Events Center Wednesday in the first round of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship.
The Rams (10-20, 2-16) had two players score in double figures, led by Carryn Easley, who had a career high 23 points and three steals. London Liley added 10 points and two steals from the bench all in the second half and Lakresha Edwards added eight points and three steals.
Fordham out-rebounded Saint Louis 37-35 in Wednesday's game, led by five boards from Precious Omoshola. The Rams also collected 18 offensive rebounds and scored 20 second chance points.
The Fordham defense was effective at taking away the basketball in Wednesday's game, forcing 16 Saint Louis turnovers while committing 14. Those takeaways turned into 16 points on the offensive end of the floor. Edwards' three steals led the way individually for the Rams.

Saint Louis then took a 34-22 lead before Fordham responding by going on a 6-0 run, highlighted by a three from Ornella Niankan, to narrow its deficit to 34-28, a score that would hold until halftime.
Saint Louis continued to increase its lead after halftime, building a 38-30 advantage before Fordham went on a 6-0 run, punctuated by a basket from Edwards, to trim its deficit to 38-36 with 6:29 to go in the third. Saint Louis countered and stretched its lead to 50-45 heading into the fourth. Fordham's bench made the most of its minutes in the period, as non-starters totaled six of the team's 17 third-quarter points.
Fordham could not pull any closer in the fourth, losing by a final of 68-60. Fordham fired away from deep in the quarter, knocking down two shots to account for six of its 15 points.
