Harrison, N.Y. – The Fordham women's tennis team extended its win streak to ten, blanking Binghamton University 7-0 at Life Time Athletic on Friday evening.
The Rams started hot sweeping the doubles point as
Carina Ma and
Estelle Wong defeated Annie DiMurio and Samara Eisenberg 6-3 in first doubles,
Mayu Sato and
Alexis Zobeideh defeated Olga OStrovetsky and Paulina Tafler 6-1 in second doubles and
Maia Balce and
Carolina Sa beat Rebecca Dellaway and Allison Roma 6-3 in third doubles.
It was another clean sheet for the Rams in singles play as
Carina Ma defeated Annie DiMurio 6-4, 6-2 in first singles,
Estelle Wong rallied to beat Samara Eisenberg 0-6, 6-2, 6-3 in second singles,
Mayu Sato cruised past Rebecca Dellaway 6-2, 6-1 in third singles,
Maia Balce defeated Olga Ostrovetsky 7-5, 6-2 in fourth singles,
Destiny Grunin beat Paulina Tafler 6-2, 6-2 in fifth singles and
Alexis Zobeideh rolled past Allison Roma 6-0, 6-1 in sixth singles.
The Rams return to action March 29 as they host Fairleigh Dickinson at Hawthorn Rooney Courts.
