Nevena Kolarevic teamed with
Julianne Nguyen to win the Atlantic 10 Masters doubles title. This year she did it herself, winning the A-10 Masters singles championship and advances to play in the ITA Conference Masters Championships from November 6-9, 2025 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, CA.
Kolarevic received a bye in the Round of 16 before defeating Saint Louis' Fiorella Duran in straight sets in the quarterfinals, 6-2, 6-1.
In the semifinals Kolarevic defeated VCU's Sofia Jane Thorne, 6-3, 6-3, to advance to the final where she faced Richmond's Sofia Maria Barbulescu. Kolarevic dropped the first set, 6-2, but came back to take the second, 6-1, and the third, 6-2.
Freshman
Valerija Kargina also competed in the singles championship, also receiving a bye in the Round of 16. She opened play with a 6-1, 6-1 win over VCU's Andrea Magallanes in the quarterfinals before falling to Barbulescu in a hard fought semifinals match, 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 6-7 (7-3).
In doubles play, Kolarevic and Nguyen received a bye in the quarterfinals before falling to VCU's Magallanes and Sofia Jane Thorne, 8-2, in the semifinals.
