BRONX, N.Y. - Fordham University director of tennis/head women's tennis coach Michael Sowter announced the addition of Luana Paiva (Salvador, Brazil), a two-year starter at Lamar University, to the 2026-2027 roster.
 
2025-26 (at Lamar)
Played mostly at the #2 singles position.
Finished the season with an 12-7 record in singles, 6-3 in Southland Conference spring action.
Led team with 12 singles wins.
Was 10-7 in doubles play, all at first doubles.
Led team with ten doubles wins.
Named to the Academic All-Southland Conference team.
Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's List.
 
2024-25 (at Lamar)
Played the Nos. 3-5 positions on the singles ladder.
Spent time at all three doubles positions.
Was 5-4 (.556) in singles including a 4-1 (.800) mark at the No. 4 spot.
Posted a 4-6 (.400) record in doubles competition.
Three of her four doubles wins came at the No. 2 position.
Ended the season with a three-match win streak.
