Baltimore, Md. – The Fordham squash team had a very successful weekend at this weekend's Johns Hopkins Round Robin in Baltimore, Maryland, picking up four victories in five matches.  The Rams posted wins over host Johns Hopkins, Lafayette, William & Mary, and Vanderbilt, while falling to Duke.

With the 4-1 mark, the Rams are now 8-8 on the season.

The round robin opened on Friday night, with Fordham defeating host Johns Hopkins, 5-4, is a tight fought affair.  After splitting the bottom four matches with wins by Justin Esposito (#9) and Sahil Bahri (#6) for Fordham, the Rams captured three of the top five matches to clinch the win.  Peter Yuen swept his #1 slot match, as did John Lennon in the #3 position, but it was Jimmy Shinnick's four-game win at the #4 position over Preston Coffin, 16-14, 6-11, 11-5, and 11-8, that clinched the Rams' win.

On Saturday, the Rams dominated action, winning 26 of the 27 individual match-ups, defeating Lafayette, 8-1, William & Mary, 9-0, and Vanderbilt, 9-0.
