Bronx, N.Y. – (December 7, 2025) – The Fordham squash team completed a perfect 3-0 home weekend on Sunday at the Lombardi Squash Courts, posting an 8-1 win over NYU and a 9-0 victory against UConn.
With the win, Fordham moved to 9-3 on the year and have won six in a row.
MATCH 1 vs. NYU – W, 8-1
- NYU only had seven players, giving Fordham a 2-0 match lead by default.
- The Rams then won six of the seven remaining matches, starting with Nicholas Gilman posting a four-game win over Andrew Pang, 8-11, 11-7, 11-6, and 11-8, at first position.
- Jack Stanley won at the second slot in three games over Alexander Gan, 12-10, 11-6, and 11-8, while Tyler Christensen knocked off William Ma at fourth position, 11-0, 11-0, and 11-0.
- Drew Fones (5th), Fredrik Schreiber-Wacnik (6th), and Nathan Martinez (7th) closed out the team win with three-game sweeps in each of their matches.
MATCH 2 vs. UConn – W, 9-0
- Fordham took all nine individual matches in three-game sweeps.
- Gilman earned his second win of the day at first position with an 11-3, 11-2, and 11-5 victory over Jaden Majmudar, while Stanley knocked off Mateo Macri at second position, 11-1, 11-4, and 11-2.
- Christensen (3rd), Fones (4th), Schreiber-Wacnik (5th), Martinez (6th), Charlie Friedman (7th), Joe Walsh (8th), and Anthony Mamdouh Zareh (9th) also picked up wins for the Rams on Sunday.
