Final Results
Quechee, V.t. – The Fordham University golf team completed its third tournament of the fall today by taking 12th at the Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge at the Quechee Club.
Fordham was led by
Matt Schiller who carded an even par 72 on day two to go with his 74 in round one for a two day total of 148, placing him in a tie for 17
th.
Also competing for the Rams,
Josh Madarang shaved five strokes off his first round score of 80 with a 75 on day two for a 155 total and a tie for 46
th place.
Joseph Trim shot an 80 on day two to go with his 76 from day one for a 156 total, tying him for 49
th place.
James Mongey shot 82-81 for a two day total of 163, good for a tie for 74
th place and
Thomas Hayes shot 79-89 for a 168 total, tying him for 80
th place.
Oscar Cabanas competed as an individual shooting 83-79 for a total of 162, putting him in a tie for 71
st overall.
Rhode Island won the team title with a 36 hole score of 578 followed by Harvard (580), Cornell (588), Penn (591), Columbia (597), Temple (598), Dartmouth (599), Hartford (601), Colgate, 604), Brown (615), Siena (617), Fordham (619), Central Connecticut (633), and Holy Cross (645).
The Rams return to action on Saturday, October 1, at the MacDonald Invitational hosted by Yale at the Course at Yale in New Haven, Connecticut.
