SERIES HISTORY: Against Seton Hall, the Rams and Pirates have each won four contests in their eight-game series.  The two teams have not played each other since the 2011 season opener, when Seton Hall pulled out a 3-2 overtime win.  Fordham's last win in the series came in 2010, a 1-0 win at Jack Coffey Field.

Against Manhattan, Fordham holds a 14-8-1 edge in 23 all-time meetings.  Fordham has won each of the last two meetings, which including a 2-0 victory at Gaelic Park last year and a 2-1 win at Jack Coffey Field in 2014.

LAST TIME OUT (8/26): Princeton's Tyler Lussi scored twice and added an assist, while Mimi Asom had a goal and an assist, as the Tigers topped the Fordham Rams, 3-1, at Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium in Princeton, N.J.

Princeton wasted little time getting on the scoreboard in the eighth minute.  Samantha McDonough lofted a long pass from midfield to the left side of the box.  Tyler Lussi was able to pick up the pass on a bounce, and one-touched it past Fordham goalkeeper Megan Fitzgerald for the initial lead.

Lussi struck again less than two minutes later, making it a 2-0 game.  Mikaela Symanovich made a long throw in to Mimi Asom in the box near the post.  Asom shielded the ball and settled it right to Lussi, who rifled the ball into the net for a two-goal lead.

The score remained 2-0 into the second half, where Princeton netted its third goal of the game in the 47th minute.  This time, Lussi played the ball ahead from sideline to Asom, cutting to the top of the box.  Asom got ahead of the Fordham backline, and slid a shot through Fitzgerald's legs for her first of the season.

Fordham struck for a goal in the 68th minute to make it a 3-1 game.  Brianna Blunck lofted a ball into the box from the sideline.  The ball went off a Princeton defender trying to clear right to Fordham's Lane Cronin, who pounced on it and scored from six yards out for her first goal of the season.

That would be as close as Fordham could get, as Princeton outshot Fordham, 12-10, in the contest.  Princeton goalkeeper Natalie Grossi notched two saves for the win, while Fitzgerald had three stops for the Rams.

WHO'S NEXT: Following this weekend's action, Fordham has a pair of games next week.  The Rams host Iona on Thursday, September 8th, at 7:00 PM, and then travel to Hartford for a 2:00 PM showdown on Sunday, September 11th.
