Shelton, CT - The Rams kicked off the 2016 Fall Racing Season on Saturday at the Head of the Housatonic Regatta in Shelton, CT. They competed in the Women's Collegiate 8+, Women's Collegiate 4+and Women's Collegiate Novice 4+.
In the Women's Collegiate 8+, the Rams raced three different lineups in a field of 33. Fordham "A" finished 15th in a time of 15:09.1, Fordham "B" finished 23rd in a time of 15:37.2 and Fordham "C" finished 32nd in a time of 17:34.5. Brown University won the event in a time of 13:54.6.

Placing third out of five entries in the Women's Collegiate Novice 4+, the Rams finished behind Marist and Holy Cross in a time of 18:39. Coxed by freshman

Rosalyn Kutsch, senior Samantha Foulston and freshman
Grace Little.
Fordham's Women's Collegiate 4+ was led by senior coxswain Jackie Ramos and consisted of junior
Kristen Shuman, junior Katie Dillan, freshman
Julia Comerford and sophomore
Caroline Roncinske. The Rams placed eleventh out of 18 in a time of 17:19.2. Yale University won the event in a time of 15:24.1.
The Rams will continue on with their season on October 22
nd with the Head of the Charles in Boston, MA.
