Rams Place Third at the Head of the Schuykill

Philadelphia, PA – The Rams traveled to Philadelphia, PA on October 29, 2016 to compete at the Head of the Schuykill Regatta.  Fordham competed in the Club 8+. Championship 8+ and Championship 4+.
 
Competing in the Women's Championship 4+, the Rams had two entries among the field of 62 total entries. Fordham "A" finished 21st in a time of 18:14.7. Fordham "B" finished 36th in a time of 19:07.2. University of Pennsylvania won the event in a time of 16:36.1.
 
Later that afternoon, two different entries took to the course to compete in the Women's Club 8+. Fordham "A" completed the course in a time of 15:48.1, finishing third behind the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University. Fordham "B" placed 37th in a time of 18:17.1. There were a total of 58 entries in the event.
 
Fordham wrapped up the day with the Women's Championship 8+. The Rams finished the course in 15:37.9 earning a third place finish behind University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University. There were 15 entries in the event.
 
Fordham will finish the 2016 Fall Racing season with the Fall Metropolitan Championships on November 5, 2016 in Pelham, NY.
