Live StatsBRONX, N.Y. -- The Fordham women's volleyball team (2-5) returns to action Tuesday night when it makes the short trip in the Bronx to Riverdale, N.Y. to face rival Manhattan (5-3) in the "Battle of the Bronx" match at Draddy Gym, with first serve slated for 7 p.m. Fans will be able to view the match online for a price of $5.95.
Last Time OutThe Rams finished 1-2 over the weekend at their Rose Hill Classic, where they lost to Robert Morris in three sets in the championship match. Fordham started out by losing to Niagara in four sets (25-22, 17-25, 22-25, 23-25), before rallying in five sets to knock off Georgetown (25-17, 18-25, 13-25, 25-21, 15-13). Needing a win against the undefeated Colonials Saturday afternoon, the Rams were defeated by scores of 25-10, 25-22 & 25-20.

Natalie Martinez produced a season-high 14 kills, while sophomore
Emily Fronk dished out a career-high 29 assists and narrowly missed a double-double with eight digs. Sophomore
Clarissa Cartledge manufactured a team-high 14 digs, and junior
Kristen Ostach recorded a career-best six blocks.
In the victory over the Hoyas, Fronk trumped her previous career high in assists from the match earlier in the day to hand out 36 while collecting her second double-double of the season and her career with 13 digs to go along with two service aces, also a new career high. Jones barely missed a double-double after recording a season-high 18 kills and nine digs. Cartledge added a team-best 15 digs, and sophomore
Sarah Skelton produced a solid match with a career-high 13 digs and eight kills.

Molly Oshinski almost collect her first career double-double, as she tied a career high in kills with nine to lead the Rams while adding nine digs. She also recorded a .562 hitting percentage. Skelton added eight kills and seven digs, while senior
Abigail Konovodoff came off the bench to dish out a team-best 23 assists. Cartledge was once again the leader in digs with a match-high 14.

What You Need To Know: The Japers started the 2015 season with a solid start at the Towson Invitational, where they finished 3-1 after taking down Saint Francis U (3-0), Coppin State (3-1) and Delaware State (3-2). After defeating Stony Brook in four sets in its home opener last Tuesday, Manhattan traveled to Peoria, Ill. and beat UMass Lowell (3-0), before losing to Weber State (3-0) and the hosts Bradley (3-2). Milena Janjusevic paces the offense with 96 kills and 11 service aces while adding 96 digs and 10 total blocks on defense. Setter Jade Gray has facilitated the offense with 222 assists and has 69 digs and 11 total blocks on defense. Ivana Kostic leads the defense at the net with 23 total blocks and has tallied 48 kills on the offensive side of the net. Marissa Behrens is also a solid two-way player with 20 blocks and 50 kills, while Allie Yamashiro leads the squad with 123 digs. Claire Van Dyk adds 77 kills and 66 digs for the Jaspers.
Up NextFordham returns to action Friday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 12 when it travels to Baltimore, Md. to participate in UMBC's Maddie Bingaman Memorial Tournament. The Rams are slated to play one match Friday night against the hosts at 7 p.m., before concluding the tournament Saturday against Rider (10:30 a.m.) and Morgan State (3 p.m.)
