After a 10-day hiatus, the Fordham women's soccer team is back in action on Thursday, as the Rams open Atlantic 10 conference play against the Rhode Island Rams at Jack Coffey Field. Game time is set for 7:00 PM.

th all-time meeting in the Battle of the Rams series with Rhode Island holding a 9-7-1 edge. Though slightly trailing in the series, Fordham has won each of the last three meetings. The two teams have not met since 2013, when Fordham defeated Rhode Island, 3-1 on Jack Coffey Field.
RAMS BACK IN THE REGIONAL RANKINGS: After a week's hiatus, the Fordham women's soccer team is back among the NSCAA Division I Women's Soccer Regional Rankings, it was released on Tuesday. After falling out of the top ten last week, the Rams are in the #10 spot in Mid-Atlantic Region this week.
Hofstra rates as the top-ranked team in the Mid-Atlantic region, followed by Dartmouth, Princeton, William & Mary, Northeastern, James Madison, Saint Louis, Saint Joseph's, UNC-Wilmington, and Fordham.

WOMEN'S SOCCER HONORED WITH NSCAA TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD: The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has announced its Team Academic Award winners for the 2014-15 academic year. Among those honored were both the Fordham men's and women's soccer teams for the sixth consecutive year. Fordham was one of 208 schools to have both of its soccer programs receive the Team Academic Award. A total of 859 collegiate soccer teams (305 men, 554 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2014-15 academic year.
