Men's Golf Wraps Up Fall Season With Fifth-Place Finish at Lehigh

Rams Will Now be Off Until the Spring

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Fordham men's golf team concluded the fall season Saturday with a fifth-place tie at the Lehigh Invitational, which took place at the par-72 Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Rams shot a 315 in the second and final round to finish with a 627 (312-315). Saturday featured only the final nine holes, as 27 were play Friday. Bucknell won the 12-team tournament with a 607.

Sophomore Matt Schiller paced the Rams with a 154 (72-82), while fellow classmate James Mongey finished one stroke behind with a 155 (77-78). Freshman Thomas Hayes was next with a 160 (78-82), and sophomore Joseph Trim, who led the Rams with a 3-over-par 75 in the final round, carded a 161 (86-75). Junior Fernando Morett rounded out the scoring for Fordham with a 165 (85-80).
