The first tournament of the fall is in the books for the Fordham golf team, as the Rams placed 12th out of 14 squads at the Colgate Invitational held at Seven Oaks Country Club in Hamilton, N.Y.

Army took the team title, at nine over par, finishing 12 shots better than second place Colgate.

Ryan Allison of Colgate was the tournament's medalist, shooting a two-under 216 over three rounds of play.

Jeff Hogan paced the Rams, shooting 75-75-82 for the weekend to finish in a tie for 25^th.

Ben Alcorn shot 78-76-80 to finish 18 over par which was good for a tie for 33^rd place.

Senior Brian Engstrom had his best round on Sunday, shooting a 76 which helped him land in a tie for 46^th place.

Senior Andrew Dufresne and Sophomore Fernando Morett finished in a tie for 56^th and 74^th, respectively

The Rams will be back in action on September 15 at the Adams Cup in Newport, Rhode Island
