The Fordham Golf Team finished in a tie for 9^th place at the Cornell Invitational, which took place at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club this past weekend. After two rounds of play the Rams were fighting for a top-three finish, but after a final round score of 316 Fordham found itself tied with St. Bonaventure, one shot behind Binghamton, who finished 8^th.
 
Matt Schiller and Oscar Cabanas paced the way for the Rams, both found themselves in a tie for 17^th place after the final round. Schiller carded a final round of 76 while Cabanas shot an 81.  This was the second straight weekend that both Schiller and Cabanas found themselves in the top 25 after the final round.  
 
Joe Trim tied for 38^th after a final round score of 80, finishing with a three round total of 234.

Joe Mongey shot rounds of 83-76-79, which landed him in 55^th place.

Hugh LaGrotteria rounded out the scores for the Rams, finishing in 72nd after shooting rounds of 78-87-84 over two days of play.

The Rams will be back in action on Saturday, September 27^th, at the Dartmouth Invitational
