Atlantic 10 Weekly Release
 
Fordham senior forward Kate McDonnell (West Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) was named Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Co-Player of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday.  This is McDonnell's first career Atlantic 10 weekly accolade, sharing the honor with Dayton's Nicole Waters.
 
McDonnell scored in each of Fordham's two wins this past weekend, extending the squad's current win streak to three matches.  She began the weekend by scoring on a header in the 85th minute in a 1-0 shutout of Vermont on Friday afternoon. The senior forward then tallied her second goal of the year on Sunday, as the Rams blanked Maine, 2-0. 
 
McDonnell currently leads Fordham with two goals, four points, and 11 shots.
 
McDonnell and the rest for the Fordham Rams will next be in action on Friday, September 5^th, when the Rams travel to Brooklyn for a 6:00 PM match with LIU-Brooklyn.
