2014 Schedule | PDF

The Fordham women's soccer team announced its 2014 schedule today, which will feature ten non-conference games and eight Atlantic 10 contests.  Included in this year's schedule, the Rams will play one NCAA team from a year ago, as well as welcoming some of the newer additions to the Atlantic 10 in George Mason and VCU to Jack Coffey Field for the first time.

After a pair of exhibition contests, Fordham will open its 22nd season of varsity play in Ypsilanti, Michigan on August 22nd for the team's first-ever meeting with Eastern Michigan.

The Rams will then have a quick trip back to New York for their home opener on August 24th, when Fordham faces crosstown rival, Manhattan College at Jack Coffey Field.  That contest begins a three-game home stretch, where Fordham will also host Vermont (Aug. 29) and Maine (Aug. 31) at the Rose Hill Campus.  The Rams' other non-conference home games are against The Citadel (Sept. 14) and Columbia (Sept. 28).

The Rams finish non-conference play with four road games with Fordham taking on LIU-Brooklyn (Sept. 5), Iona (Sept. 12), Providence (Sept. 19), and Stony Brook (Sept. 21).

Fordham begins its eight-game Atlantic 10 conference schedule at home against VCU on October 3rd.  Fordham will also host George Washington (Oct. 5), Saint Joseph's (Oct. 24), and George Mason (Oct. 26).

In road action, Fordham has its first league road game on Saturday, October 11th at defending Atlantic 10 champion, La Salle.  The Rams will also face Saint Louis (Oct. 17), Dayton (Oct. 19), and St. Bonaventure (Oct. 31) on the road this season.

In addition to the 17 regular season games, Fordham will have two exhibition contests against Wagner (Aug. 15 - home) and Army (Aug. 17 - away).

The Rams, under first-year head coach Jessica Clinton, will look to return to the Atlantic 10 Championship by season's end.  After the opening round at campus sites, the semifinals and finals of the Atlantic 10 Championship will be held at Dayton's Baujan Field from November 7-9.
