Round One Results

The Rams overcame wet and windy conditions on the first day of the Rhody Invitational at Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth, R.I., to stay three strokes off the lead heading into the final round on Sunday.

Brandon Nolan sits in third place after one round of play, registering a two-over 73.  The Attleboro, Mass., native is just two strokes off the lead, an even-par 71 carded by Pete Ballo of Sacred Heart.  
Junior Drew Dufrense recorded a 75, the second best round of his Fordham career, to remain within four strokes of the lead.  After struggling on the first two holes, the Chino Hills, Calif., native went just one-over par on his last 16.

Jeff Hogan sits in a tie for 17th place after carding a seven-over 78, while Ryan Donahue, competing as an individual, finished one stroke behind Hogan.

Ben Alcorn and Brian Engstrom each registered an opening-round 80, while Fernando Morett, competing as an individual, recorded an 84.
