Following the first day of play at the 2014 Atlantic 10 Championships, the Fordham golf team is currently in eighth place out of ten teams at TPC Tampa Bay in Lutz, Fla.

Brandon Nolan led the Rams in their opening 18, carding a five-over 76.

Ben Alcorn, who was two under through three holes, posted the team's second best score with a seven-over 78.

Junior Jeff Hogan also scored sub-80, shooting a 79 in the first of three rounds.

Drew Dufresne and Brian Engstrom rounded out the day for Fordham, recording an 83 and 86, respecitvely.
