The Fordham golf team competed in its final tournament before the Atlantic 10 Championship this weekend, taking eighth place out off 11 at the Yale Spring Invitational in New Haven, Conn.
 
The Rams found themselves in second-to-last place following the opening 18 holes, but a strong finish helped the Rams jump up two spots by the conclusion of play.  The Rams carded a team score of 308 (+28) in their final round.
 
Harvard took the team title with a two-round score of 13 over par, while Rohan Ramnath of the Crimson earned medalist honors with a six-under 64 in his final 18.
  
Brandon Nolan led the Rams with rounds of 78 and 75, finishing in a tie for 24th.  

Drew Dufresne and Fernando Morett each finished in a tie for 30th, registering scores of 15 over par through two rounds.

Jeff Hogan ended the tournament two strokes behind Dufresne and Morett, carding an 80 and a 77.

Ben Alcorn and Brian Engstrom closed out scoring for Fordham, shooting 26 and 27 over, respectively.
