Golf Finishes 14th at Wildcat Invitational

Brandon Nolan Ties Career-Low with A Final Round 70

Brandon Nolan tied the best round of his Fordham career, firing off a one-under 70 to lead Fordham to a 14th place finish at the Wildcat Invitational in Malvern, Pa.
 
Nolan's spectacular final round performance propelled the senior into a tie for 22nd overall.
 
Columbia took the team title at 40 over par, while Christopher Crawford of Drexel brought home medalist honors by going 70-68-74 to finish at one under par.
 
Jeff Hogan proved consistent in his first competitive rounds of the spring, sandwiching a 77 with a pair of 78's to finish in a tie for 46th.
 
Drew Dufresne played progressively better as the tournament went on, shaving one stroke off his second-round score of 79 in his final 18, tallying the third-best Fordham score with a 238.
 
Ben Alcorn finished four strokes behind Dufresne, shooting back-to-back 81's and finishing in a tie for 74th.
 
Brian Engstrom shot his best round of the tournament on Tuesday, carding an 83.
 
Bill Fitzpatrick, competing in the tournament as an individual, shot an 85 in the final round.
 
The Fordham golf team will next be in action on April 5th at the Rhody Invitational in Portsmouth, R.I.
