The Rams split a pair of decisions on Saturday, improving to 4-3 on the season.
Game One

The Rams had a tough time getting anything going on Saturday afternoon, falling to DePaul 8-0 in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

DePaul got on the board first in the opening inning, plating four runs on a homer and a two-run single.

The Blue Demons put up another run in the top of the third, before blanking the Rams and bringing home two more in the top of the fourth.

Fordham held DePaul scoreless over the next two innings, before the Blue Demons brought home a run that ended the game in the top of the seventh.

Game Two
Â
Michele Daubman picked up the win in the circle and delivered the game-winning home run in the batter's box, leading Fordham to a 5-4 victory over College of Charleston on Saturday night.

Fordham got the action started in the top of the first, as
Sydney Canessa registered the first home run of her Fordham career to lead off the game.

College of Charleston answered in the bottom of the second, tallying three runs on three hits to take the lead. The Cougars built that advantage in the fourth, plating one run to move ahead 4-1.

In the fifth,
Elise Fortier hit a two-run homer to lead a three run inning, allowing the Rams to tie the score at four.

After an inning of scoreless softball, Daubman smacked her first goner of the season, giving the Rams the advantage heading into the deciding frame.

Following her go-ahead round tripper, Daubman closed out College of Charleston in the seventh, sealing the Fordham victory.Â
