Fordham Basketball Opens Season on Friday Night

Bronx, N.Y. (November 13, 2014) - The Fordham University men's basketball squad will open it's 2014-2015 season, the 112th season of basketball at Rose Hill, on Friday night, November 14, as the Rams host the New York Institute of Technology Bears in the historic Rose Hill Gym at 8:00 p.m.
 
The game will be streamed live on the Atlantic 10 Digital Network and broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM ) and www.wfuvsports.org and can be followed live via livestats. Follow the links above.
 
Fordham enters the season after going 10-21 last year while New York Tech enters the new year after finishing the 2013-14 season with a 10-16 record.
 
Fordham is looking to win its second straight season opener after snapping a five-game losing streak on opening night last year with a win over Saint Francis (Pa.) in the Rose Hill Gym. Overall, Fordham is 73-32 (.695) in season openers since 1908, 77-18 (.811) in home openers.
 
This will be the first ever meeting on the hardwood between Fordham and NYIT.
