Round Two Results

The Rams fell two spots to 11th overall on the second day of play at the 2013 Atlantic 10 Golf Championships held at Heron Bay Golf Club in Coral Gables, Fla. Jason Del Rosso led the Rams with his second consecutive 74 on Saturday morning.

Del Rosso currently sits in a tie for 30th overall, as does Brandon Nolan, who shot a three-over 75 in round two.

Charotte has increased its team lead substantially on day two, padding its advantage from one stroke to seven strokes. The 49ers currently sit at 13 under par as a squad. VCU (-6) and Temple (-5) are the only other teams in the red. Xavier (+2) and Richmond (+7) round out the top five.

Ben Alcorn is two shots behind his teammates after a second round 76. The sophomore from Chatham, N.J., is six over par for the tournament and tied for 38th overall.

Senior Brody Nieporte (62nd) shot four strokes better on Saturday than he did on Friday, posting a 78.

Jeff Hogan (T-54th) shot an 81 this morning.

The Rams have one more day of golf down in Florida, as they tee off tomorrow morning in the final round of play.
