Billikens Beat Rams

Box Score The Fordham Rams dropped an A-10 contest on the road Sunday, falling to the Billikens 3-1 in Saint Louis.
 
With the loss, the Rams fall to 8-13 on the year with a 1-4 record in conference play.
 
The first set proved to be one of the more unusual sets the Rams have played this year.  Saint Louis took the first ten points of the frame before the Rams could get a point, usually spelling disaster.  But Fordham battled back, evening the score at 21 and eventually taking the set 25-22.
 
The two squads played even at the beginning of the second set, but with the scored tied at eight, the Billikens used a 5-0 run to take a lead they would not relinquish.  Saint Louis went on to win the set 25-19.
 
Saint Louis took a close third set from the Rams, 25-23, and dominated in the fourth, taking the deciding set, 25-12.
 
The Rams will be back in action this coming Friday, when they travel to Dayton to take on the Flyers.
