George Mason's Emma Starr had a goal and an assist, while Lyndsey Hokanson made eight saves, as the Patriots topped the Fordham Rams, 3-0, at George Mason Stadium in Alexandria, Virginia.
The loss puts Fordham's record at 3-8-3 on the year, 1-3-1 in Atlantic 10 play, while George Mason improved to 6-7-1 on the year, 3-1 in the conference.
Unfortunately for Fordham, Sunday's match-up at George Mason started just like Friday's at VCU with an early goal by the home team. In the sixth minute, Emma Starr hit a cross from the far corner that found Sydney Mitchell for a shot from 12 yards out. Mitchell found the back of the net, netting her second goal of the season.
Only eight minutes later, the Patriots cashed in again to make it a 2-0 game. Emily Harvey and Jazmin Cardozo played a little give-and-go play, which ended with Harvey scoring her second goal of the season to the lower left corner of the net.
George Mason sealed the win with a third goal in the 76
th minute, when Starr scored off her own rebound shot.

Megan Fitzgerald and
Ally White each played a half for Fordham with Fitzgerald allowing two goals with three saves, while White had two saves and one goal allowed. Lyndsey Hokanson played the entire 90 minutes, making eight saves for the shutout.
