Athletic Department Volunteer Positions

Fordham University is a dynamic institution in the cultural heart of New York City. Founded in 1841, Fordham enrolls approximately 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students in its 10 colleges and schools. Fordham has 23 NCAA sanctioned varsity sports, along with a variety of club and intramural sports. The Rams varsity sports compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference, except for football, which competes in the Patriot League.

The Fordham Athletic Department is committed to offering meaningful experiences to qualified candidates. Our volunteer assistants have always served as a tremendous resource for the Athletic Department and contribute greatly to our successes. In addition, many career opportunities in the industry have developed for our support staff as a result of the valuable experiences they gain while here.

The opportunities we support vary by area and needs. All are filled on a volunteer basis and some positions are able to earn credit toward undergraduate or graduate degree programs while others are used to gain valuable work experience in collegiate athletics. Most of the opportunities coincide with the academic year and run for a ten-month period, although some are supported for a shorter periods of time.
