Atlantic 10 Release
 
Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham freshman midfielder Marco Cantalapiedra (Biscayne, Fla./Collegiate Preparatory Academy) was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week it was announced by the conference today. It is the first weekly honor for the rookie.
 
In a 2-0 win over Bucknell on Friday night, Cantalapiedra scored the game's first goal - his first collegiate tally - in the 54^th minute, leading the Rams to their first win of the year.
 
Fordham returns to action on Tuesday, September 1, as they travel down to Villanova University for a 4:00 p.m. match with the Wildcats.
