Bronx, N.Y. – (June 16, 2026) – Fordham water polo student-athletes, Balasz Berenyi and
Luca Provenziani, were among those that received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors for the Men's At-Large Team on Tuesday.
The 2026 Academic All-District® At Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
The Men's At-Large Team has student-athletes from a variety of sports, including water polo, fencing, golf, gymnastics, wrestling, ice hockey, skiing, lacrosse, rifle, and volleyball.
This is Berenyi's third selection to the All-District Team, while being the first for Provenziani.

Balazs Berenyi – Sr. – Utility
Major: Finance
- CSC Academic All-District selection (2023, 2024, & 2025)
- Four-year member of the ACWPC All-Academic Team
- Four-time MAWPC champion (2022-25)
- ACWPC All-America Honorable Mention in 2025
- MAWPC All-Championship Second Team selection
- Appeared in all 30 games, totaling 28 goals, nine assists, 14 steals, and 10 blocks
- Finished career with 163 goals, 99 assists, 113 steals, and 28 blocks in 129 games
- 2025 Recipient of the Benedict T. Harter award at the annual Block F Awards, which is presented to the Gabelli School of Business senior athlete who has made significant academic and athletic contributions
- 2023 Recipient of the Elite 90™ Award for the 2023 NCAA Division I Men's Water Polo Championship, presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships

Luca Provenziani – So. - Attacker
Major: Business Administration (Finance)
- CSC Academic All-District selection (2025)
- Two-year member of the ACWPC All-Academic Team
- Two-time MAWPC champion (2024-25)
- Two-time ACWPC All-American (First Team – 2024; Second Team – 2025)
- First Team All-MAWPC selection twice
- Led the Rams in 2025 with 193 points, posting 90 goals and becoming the first Ram to have 100 assists in a single season at 103
- Recorded a personal-best 54 steals and 14 field blocks
