Baseball Travels to St. Bonaventure for Final A-10 Series

Rams’ Playoff Hopes Still Alive Entering Final Series of the Season

Bronx, N.Y. – (May 13, 2026) –The final weekend of the Atlantic 10 baseball season is here and the Fordham Rams are still alive for this year's Atlantic 10 Championship.
 
The Rams (13-14) have their work cut out for them as Fordham will need to get as many as wins as possible at St. Bonaventure this weekend, while also getting some help, as they try to track down Rhode Island (15-12) and George Mason (15-12) to finish in the top six in the league.

SERIES HISTORY
  • The Fordham-St. Bonaventure series dates back to the first meeting in 1907 with the Rams holding a 50-32 series edge.Last season, Fordham swept the Bonnies in a three-game series at Houlihan Park, while in 2024, St. Bonaventure took all three games from the Rams.
FORDHAM NEWS & NOTES
  • Joey Donnelly is batting .328 over his last 15 games with seven doubles, four home runs, and 13 RBI, while Tommy McAndrews is hitting .356 with 11 runs scored, five doubles, five home runs, and nine RBI.
  • Donnelly and McAndrews became just the third set of Fordham teammates to hit at least 10 home runs in the same season, joining Zach Selinger and Peter DeMaria in 2023 and Mike Marchiano and Vince Lumia in 1997.
  • McAndrews has worked his way into the top 15 all-time leaders at Rose Hill in home runs (29 – 4th), doubles (43 – T7th), RBI (123 – T11th), and total bases (314 – 10th).
  • Taylor Kirk is batting .354 in his last 15 games, scoring 12 runs with nine RBI and nine stolen bases.He is just one stolen base shy of 30 for the season, which would make him the first Ram since Jake MacKenzie (2018 & 2019) to swipe 30 bases in back-to-back seasons.
  • Aric Berg became just the third Ram to notch 10 wins and 10 saves in his career, joining Bill Conkling (1990-93) and Kyle Martin (2017-19).
OPPONENT OUTLOOK
  • St. Bonaventure is 12-34-1 on the year with a 6-21 mark in the Atlantic 10.
  • The Bonnies are hitting .260 as a team, while having a 6.47 team ERA.
  • Anthony Fernandez leads the Bonnies in hitting at .344 with 12 doubles, six home runs, and 35 RBI, while Manuel Castro is batting .305 with 16 doubles, seven home runs, and 42 RBI.
  • Joey Caabretti is the team leader with 11 home runs to go with 38 RBI and nine doubles.
  • David James has been St. Bonaventure's top pitcher, making 13 starts with a 3.86 ERA at 70 strikeouts in 72 innings.
