Rikus Schulte and redshirt freshman forward
Abass Bodija were honored with a weekly award from the Atlantic 10 Conference. Schulte was named the Under Armour Atlantic Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week while Bodija was named the Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the league today.

In two games this week, Schulte, a native of Munster Germany, averaged 16.0 ppg and 12.0 rpg, shooting 63.6% (14-22) from the field. He also added three assists, three steals, and one block.

Schulte opened the week with his eighth double-double of the year, scoring 20 points, shooting 9-for-13, and grabbing eleven rebounds in an 87-84 loss at La Salle and closed out the week with his ninth double-double of the year with 12 points and 13 rebounds in a 61-49 win at home over Rhode Island.

On the year, Schulte is averaging 10.9 ppg and 9.1 rpg. He is second in the Atlantic 10 in rebounding and seventh in field goal percentage (57.3% - 142-248).

Bodija averaged 14.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg last week, shooting 57.9% from the field (11-19).

Bodija started the week with a season-high 19 points and six rebounds at La Salle and then scored ten points and pulled down four boards in the Rhode Island game.

On the year, Bodija is averaging 7.3 ppg and 5.1 rpg, shooting 49.6% (68-137) from the field.

The Rams, seeded eighth, open play at the 2026 Betterment Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship against ninth-seeded George Washington on Thursday, March 12, at 11:30 a.m. at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. The game will be televised on the USA Network.
