Philadelphia. – Taking a trip down I-95 this weekend, Fordham University women's basketball takes on La Salle at 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon on ESPN+.
Fordham (9-14, 1-11) looks to snap a five-game losing streak, after falling at home to Loyola Chicago Wednesday, 47-42. La Salle (12-11, 5-7) fell against Dayton last time out on Saturday, 68-60, splitting their last four contests 2-2 after a four-game losing streak.
Facing off for the second time this season, La Salle defeated Fordham on New Year's Eve, 72-69 at the Rose Hill Gym, in a game that saw a total of seven players score in double figures between the two sides. Alexis Black dropped 21 points in that game, followed by 11 each from both Lakresha Edwards and Ornella Niankan.
In the history of the series between the two sides, La Salle holds a 39-18 lead all time, and with their win in December, places the two sides 5-5 in their last 10 meetings. Fordham claimed both meetings of a home-and-home last season in February 2025.

The Maroon and White sit 13th among all Division I teams in the nation, leading the A-10 averaging 16.0 offensive rebounds per game and are 84th nationally in overall rebounds at 39.3, third best in the conference.
The Rams are second in the league and 58th best of any team in the nation, averaging 23.7 bench points per game.
Fordham also sits 79th in the country in steals per game at 9.7/game, the second best average in the league as well, and rank 66th in the country in turnovers forced per game, forcing opponents into 19.3/game, leading the A-10.
Scoring in double figures in each of her first 13 games as a Ram, and 14 of 16 games this season, Alexis Black has paced the Rams offense and sits 59th in the nation in free throws made with 91 on the year, fourth most in the A-10.
