Atlantic 10 Release

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced their 2026-27 preseason honors on Monday morning. The Fordham Rams were represented by graduate student guard Alexis Black, who was named to the Preseason All-Conference Second Team.

Black is coming off of an impressive 2025-26 campaign with the Rams, leading a group of seven returners for the Rams. Black made 18 starts for Fordham in 2025-26, and led the team with 29.5 minutes per game. The guard also led the Rams in scoring, with 16.3 PPG. She also tallied up 3.2 APG and 1.7 SPG across her 18 starts in the backcourt.

The 2025-26 season also saw Black make Fordham history. Her season was highlighted by a dynamic 42-point performance on the road against Seton Hall. Black knocked down seven triples in that performance en route to setting Fordham's single-game scoring record.

Black also tied for the team lead in three-pointers made last season, knocking down 43 triples across her senior campaign. The Washington, D.C. native also led the team with an efficient 85.6% mark from the charity stripe.

Heading into the 2026-27 season, new head coach Neil Harrow will take the reins. Harrow, Black, and the rest of the Rams will look to usher in a new era of Fordham basketball. The 2026-27 campaign for Fordham will kick off on Monday, November 2, as the Rams host Niagara in the Bronx. Tip-off in Rose Hill Gym will come at 6 p.m.
