Neil Harrow was named head women's basketball coach at Fordham in April of 2026. Harrow joins Fordham after a standout season at LIU, where he orchestrated a 20-win season in his debut year as head coach. His arrival at Rose Hill follows a decorated coaching career, including a successful stint as the associate head coach at James Madison University from 2022 to 2025.

Harrow experienced tremendous success in his first season as a head coach at LIU in 2025-26, leading the Sharks to a 21-11 overall record, 14-4 in the NEC, setting a program record for most wins by a first-year head coach. He guided LIU to the NEC Championship game, LIU’s first appearance in the title game since the 2009-2010 season.

In three seasons as the Associate Head Coach at James Madison (2022-2025), Harrow helped the Dukes to three Sun Belt Conference championships and one NCAA Tournament appearance. In 2024-2025, JMU posted a 30-6 overall record and an 18-0 conference mark, earning the No. 3 ranking in the mid-major national poll, votes in the national top 25 poll, and the highest NET ranking in program history.

During his time on the staff at JMU, Harrow developed two Sun Belt Player of the Year winners and one WNBA draft pick.

Harrow briefly left JMU in the summer of 2024 to join the Los Angeles Sparks as an assistant coach where he worked with four Olympians and one WNBA all-star. Harrow’s other WNBA experience include stints as an advanced scout with the Sparks and the Connecticut Sun from 2020-2023.

Prior to James Madison, Harrow served as an assistant coach at Troy University for seven seasons (2015-2022) where he helped the Trojans to five Sun Belt crowns and four NCAA Tournament berths. He was named to the WBCA’s “30 Under 30” list in 2017.

Before Troy, Harrow spent two seasons at Valdosta State University as a graduate assistant (2013-2015) and three seasons coaching the men's basketball program at B.Q. Martinenc in Barcelona, Spain (2010-2013). As the head coach of the U18 team, Harrow led B.Q. Martinenc to a league championship and posted a 24-2 overall record, turning around a team that finished the prior season 1-27.

A native of East Kilbride, Scotland, Harrow earned a master’s degree in education leadership from Valdosta State University in 2015. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010 from the University of the West of Scotland, where he was also inducted into the school’s athletic hall of fame.
