Women's Basketball Closes Regular Season at St. Bonaventure

The Rams take on the Bonnies at 1:00 p.m. Saturday on ESPN+

Olean, N.Y.  – Set for the final game of the 2025-26 regular season, Fordham University women's basketball heads Upstate for a meeting with St. Bonaventure Saturday at 1:00 p.m. on ESPN+

Fordham (10-18, 2-15) is coming off a narrow 58-49 loss to Davidson on Wednesday. St. Bonaventure (15-14, 6-11) fell on the road at George Washington last time out, 61-47 on Wednesday night. The Bonnies look to avoid the play in round with a victory Saturday.

When the two sides met earlier this year, Fordham used a strong second half rally to upend St. Bonaventure, 66-53 back on Jan. 18. All time, Fordham leads the series 26-22, riding a 13-game win streak against their in-state conference rival dating back to the 2015-16 campaign.

Notes

Lakresha Edwards has scored 10+ points in 10 of the last 18 games for the Rams, dating back to Dec. 6 in the non-conference finale at Hofstra. She has led the team in scoring four times over that span, setting new career-high's four times (24) this season as well.

Carryn Easley has scored in double-figures nine times over the last 14 games since being added to the starting lineup on Jan. 3 against Saint Joseph's, leading the team with 11 points Wednesday.

The Maroon and White sit 16th among all Division I teams in the nation, leading the A-10 averaging 15.5 offensive rebounds per game and sit fifth best in the conference averaging 38.04 overall rebounds per game.

The Rams are second in the league and 57th best of any team in the nation, averaging 23.0 bench points per game.

Fordham also sits 86th in the country in steals per game at 9.6, the third best average in the league, and rank 61st in the country in turnovers forced per game, forcing opponents into 19.11/game, leading in the A-10.

Next Up

The Maroon and White will be the No. 14 seed for the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship, which begins Wednesday afternoon at the Henrico Sports and Events Center in Henrico, Va. Fordham awaits final seeding from the final day of league action, and could potentially play St. Bonaventure, Saint Louis, or Duquesne at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 4.
