Bronx, N.Y. – (February 12, 2026) – The 166th year of Fordham baseball starts this weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as the Rams will travel to New Mexico for the first time for a four-game series at Lobo Baseball Field.
Due to the weather forecast, the game times on Friday and Sunday have been adjusted, as both will now begin at 1:00 PM Eastern (11:00 AM Mountain Time). Saturday's doubleheader will remain at 2:00 PM Eastern (12:00 Mountain Time).

- Fordham returns 24 players from last year's squad, which returned to the Atlantic 10 Championship for the first time since 2019.
- Among the returning players are Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team selections in sophomore Taylor Kirk and Anthony Grabau.Kirk hit .338 in 2025 with 53 runs scored, 31 RBI, and 30 stolen bases, while Grabau had seven home runs and 27 RBI.
- Senior catcher Tommy McAndrews will serve as team captain for the 2026 season.This will be his third year as a team captain. McAndrews has been the Rams' starting catcher for the last three seasons, playing in 137 games and compiling 30 doubles, 16 home runs, and 79 RBI.
- Beau Elson will be the opening day starter for the Rams after leading Fordham in appearances (22) and wins (6) as a freshman in 2025, while being third in strikeouts (49) and innings pitched (50.1). Fellow sophomore Chase Hanawalt will also be a part of the opening weekend rotation after making 17 appearances in 2025 with 31 strikeouts over 41.0 innings.
OPPONENT OUTLOOK
- New Mexico is coming off a 30-23 season in 2025 and are led by Head Coach Tod Brown, who is in his fifth season with the Lobos.
- The Lobos led the nation in batting average a year ago at .337 and have 18 players from that team back in 2026.
- Khalil Walker is the team's top returning hitter at .399 with 16 doubles, four home runs, and 34 RBI.
