Chicago, Ill. – (September 21, 2025) - The Fordham women's soccer team came up short in its Atlantic 10 opener, falling to the Loyola Chicago Ramblers, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon at Loyola Soccer Park.
Fordham dropped to 5-3-1 overall, 0-1 in Atlantic 10.
THE GAME
- The lone goal of the match came in the 22nd minute. On the rush, Jadyn Harris laid a pass off to Zoe Hevey to the right side of the box.Hevey's shot dipped just in front of a diving Kyla King, bouncing over the Fordham goalkeeper for Hevey's third goal of the season.
- The Rams peppered Loyola Chicago with 17 shots, but could not get an equalizer past Ramblers goalkeeper Allison Deardorff, as she made eight saves for her seventh shutout of the season.
GAME NOTES
- King totaled five saves for the Rams.
- Liina Tervo recorded a team-high five shots for Fordham.
