Bronx, N.Y. – (September 11, 2025) – Columbia's Gabby Chan knocked in the go-ahead goal in the 89
th minute, as the Lions snuck past the Fordham Rams, 2-1, on Thursday night at Moglia Stadium.
 
The loss dropped Fordham's record to 4-2-1 overall.
 
THE GAME
	- Columbia grabbed a 1-0 lead when Maia Tabion scored in the 42nd minute, after taking a long ball pass from Justina Bitzer.
- The Rams knotted the match at one in the 49th minute.After an initial shot by Liina Tervo, Caroline Kelleher was able to head the rebound into the net for her first collegiate goal.
- The Lions broke the deadlock in the 89th minute, as Tabion's shot was stopped by Fordham goalkeeper Kyla King, but popped up in the air and was knocked over the goal line by Gabby Chan for the game-winning marker.
GAME NOTES
	- Kyla King piled up six saves for the Rams.
- Kelleher is the second Fordham freshman to find the scoresheet this season, joining Renata Mercedes.
- Columbia ended up with a 19-16 shot edge

	- The Rams host Yale on Sunday, September 14th at 1:00 PM.It will be Senior Day for Fordham with that ceremony set for noon, prior to the game.
