Giudice Goal Gives Rams Draw at Manhattan

Junior Scores Her Team-Leading Third Goal of the Season

Riverdale, N.Y. – (August 31, 2025) – After trailing for most of the contest, the Fordham women's soccer team got a late goal to earn a 1-1 draw against the Manhattan Jaspers at Gaelic Park.
 
Fordham moved to 2-1-1 on the season.
 
THE GAME
  • Manhattan scored first when Amaya Hill scored in the eighth minute, receiving a lead pass from Marlene Berlinghoff for a breakaway.
  • In the 84th minute, the Rams tied things up on a goal from Ava Giudice, her team leading third goal of the season.She won the ball from a defender and her shot from 25 yards found the top left corner of the net.
GAME NOTES
  • Ava Giudice scored for the second consecutive game and has goals in three of four games this season.
  • Addison Green recorded two saves for the Rams.
  • Fordham is now 20-9-2 all-time versus Manhattan.

  • Fordham is in action twice in the upcoming week with a home match against Stonehill on September 4th and a road game at FDU on September 7th.
