Stats Perform Preseason All-America Team
 
BRONX – Fordham grad student linebacker James Conway was named 2025 Stats Perform FCS First Team Preseason All-America it was announced today. He is one of two Patriot League student-athletes to be named to the first team and one of seven league players to be named a Preseason All-American by Stats Perform.
 
Conway was named to the STATS Perform Preseason All-America for the second straight year.

2024 (Senior Season)
• Started four games as a senior.
• Named First Team All-Patriot League.
• Also named First Team All-Patriot League by PhilStele.com.
• Became the Fordham and Patriot League career tackles leader this year with 436.
• Limited to four games in 2024 due to injury.
• Managed to still finish sixth on the team with 49 tackles.
• Recorded double digit tackles in three of the four games.
 
2023 (Junior Season)
• Named First Team All-Patriot League.
• Named First Team Phil Steele's All-Patriot League.
• Also named Academic All-Patriot League and CSC Academic All-District.
• Started all eleven games at linebacker as a junior.
• Recorded a team-high 129 tackles, 55 solo.
• Had 6.0 tackles for loss of 18 yards.
• Also had five quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, two pass breakups, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick.
• Second in the Patriot League and fourth in the NCAA FCS in tackles/game (11.7).
• Third in the Patriot League and 13th in the NCAA FCS in solo tackles/game (5.4).
• Notched his third straight 100+-tackles season.
