BRONX, N.Y. – The Fordham University football team will host the 15th/19th-ranked University of Richmond Spiders at Moglia Stadium on Saturday, October 10, at 3:30 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (play-by-play) and Andrew Posadas (analyst) announcing, and live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the WFUV Sports YouTube channel, with Max Langer (play-by-play) handling the announcing chores.
Fordham enters the game with a 1-5 record, 1-2 in the Patriot League, after a 34-0 loss to sixth-ranked Lehigh at Goodman Stadium last Saturday, while Richmond is 5-1 on the season, 3-0 in the Patriot League, following a 40-31 conference win at Lafayette last Saturday.
A few notes on the game:
• Saturday's game will be the fifth meeting between Fordham and Richmond on the gridiron.
• The Spiders lead the all-time series, 2-1-1, which began with a 3-3 tie in 1995. The game was the last tie for Fordham as the NCAA instituted overtime rules the following season.
• Richmond won last year's meeting, 17-14, in Richmond, while Fordham took the previous matchup in the Bronx, 23-16, in 2019.
• The Spiders joined the Patriot League in 2025 after competing in the Colonial Athletic Association since 2007. Fordham and Richmond compete in the Atlantic 10 for most other sports.
• After averaging just 68.7 rushing yards per game over the first three games this season, the Rams averaged 298.5 rushing yards per game over the next two contests.
• Fordham rushed for 428 yards and four touchdowns in its 52-27 win at William & Mary on September 19, the second-highest rushing total by an FCS team this season.

Yohan-Li Louis rushed for a career-high 203 yards against William & Mary, while senior running back
Jamell James added 163 yards and three touchdowns.
• James followed that performance with 114 rushing yards and a touchdown against Stony Brook on September 26.
