BRONX, N.Y. -  The Fordham University Rams continue the 2026 season, Fordham's 126th varsity season, and, after three straight road contests, return to the Bronx to host the Stony Brook University Seawolves at Moglia Stadium on Saturday, September 26, at 1:00 p.m. as part of Homecoming Weekend.
 
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (p-b-p) and Andrew Posadas (analyst) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the WFUV YouTube channel with Tucker Austin (p-b-p) and Anthony Smith (analyst) handling the announcing chores.
 
Fordham enters the game with a 1-3 record, 1-1 in the Patriot League, after a 52-7 league win at #21 William & Mary last Saturday while Stony Brook is 2-2 on the season, 1-0 in the CAA, following a 56-24 league win over #8/13 Rhode Island last Saturday.
 
A few notes on the game:
• Sophomore running back Yohan-Li Louis was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 203 yards on 15 carries with one touchdown at William & Mary last week.
 
• As a team, the Rams ran for 428 yards last Saturday, the best single game in the NCAA FCS this year.
 
• Saturday's game will be the tenth meeting between Fordham and Stony Brook on the gridiron.
 
• The Seawolves lead the all-time series, 5-4, and have taken the past two meetings.
 
• The Rams have taken three of the past five meet­ings.
 
• Senior linebacker Andrew Osmun and senior long snapper Michael Doctor were named preseason All-Patriot League.
 
• Fordham will be represented by five captains in 2026: senior wide receiver Ricky Gonzalez II, senior center Dylan Haines, senior linebacker Andrew Osmun, grad student defensive lineman Colby Spencer, senior quarterback Gunnar Smith.
