BRONX, N.Y. - Fordham University director of tennis/head women's tennis coach Michael Sowter announced the signing of Isabella Aguiar (Wellington, Fla.) to a letter of intent for the 2025-2026 season. She joins Valerija Kargina who signed with Fordham in February.
 
Isabella Aguiar
• A four-star recruit with a wealth of doubles experience.
• Currently trains full time at One Tennis Academy in Boca Raton, Florida.
• Was ranked as high as #86 nationally in 2024 by TennisRecruiting.net and earned a WTA Doubles Ranking of #1506 and a Universal Tennis Rating of 9.01.
• Won the 2024 Bobby Curtis Doubles Championship and has been a singles semi-finalist at the ITF J4 Dayton Beach.
 
The Rams finished the 2024-25 season with a 16-5 record and advanced to the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Championship for the fourth straight year.
