BRONX, N.Y. (April 23, 2025) – Jackie Johnson III has been selected to the All-Met Second Team, it was announced this morning by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association.

Johnson, a Second Team NABC All-District honoree, shined in his lone season with the Rams, leading the Atlantic 10 and ranking 30
th nationally in scoring with 19.5 points per game.

On the year, Johnson scored 642 points, the fourth highest single-season total in program history and the most by a Ram since Kenny Charles netted a school-record 679 points in 1972-73. The Wichita, Kan., native connected on 91 3-pointers, the third highest total by a Fordham player and the most since Jason Harris sank 93 during the 1999-2000 campaign.

Johnson appeared in all 33 games, 32 of which were starts, and reached double figures in all but one appearance. He scored 20 or more points 16 times with two efforts of 35 or more. He poured in a career-best 36 in a triple-overtime thriller against UMass on Jan. 15 before closing his collegiate career with 35 points on 11-of-18 shooting against George Washington in the Atlantic 10 Tournament. Johnson, who averaged 32.0 points per game at the A-10 Tournament, sank seven of his nine 3-point attempts in that contest against the Revolutionaries.

Johnson also ranked second on the team in both assists (2.5 apg) and steals (1.5 spg).

Johnson began his collegiate career at Duquesne before spending two seasons at UNLV.
