Box Score Philadelphia, Pa. – The Fordham women's tennis squad closed out its spring schedule with its ninth match against an Atlantic 10 opponent. And for the ninth time the Rams came out on top, shutting out Saint Joseph's University, 5-0, at the SJU Tennis Complex. The win was also the seventh straight for Fordham, who completed the regular season with a 15-4 record.
 
Fordham opened the match winning the doubles point, taking all three doubles matches with two going to a tiebreaker. Paola Ueno Dalmonico and Catalina Padilla Udaeta got things goings with a 6-3 win over Saint Joseph's Ana Ocasio and Claudia Perez-Garcia at third doubles but first and second doubles took a little longer. Nevena Kolarevic and Julianne Nguyen managed to knock off Wiktoria Czerny and Victoria Tracey, 7-6(1) at first doubles, and Lorraine Bergmann and Lily Chitambar outlasted Charlotte Kordonowy and Brooke Tackett at the third position, 7-6(7).
 
The Rams then won the first four completed singles matches for the 5-0 win. Kolarevic took first singles from Czerny (SJU), 6-1, 6-3, while Bergmann dropped the first set at second singles to Kordonowy, 6-2, but battled back to win the second, 6-3, and the third, 6-4. 3. Dalmonico also lost the first set at third singles to Tracey, 6-4, but came back to win the second, 6-1, and the tiebreaker, 10-6.
 
Aya Matsunaga accounted for the other singles win for the Rams, defeating Ana Ocasio, 6-2, 7-6(6), at the sixth position.
