Atlantic 10 Release
 
Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham University junior Nevena Kolarevic (Belgrade, Serbia) was named Atlantic 10 Under Armour Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from March 17-23 it was announced by the league office today. It is the second weekly award for Kolarevic.
 
Kolarevic was a perfect 3-0 in singles action on the week and 2-1 in doubles play, playing at the first positions for both. She opened the week with a marathon 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) win over William & Mary's Hedda Gurholt on Wednesday and then swept a pair of Atlantic 10 opponents over the weekend. Kolarevic opened the weekend with a straight win over Richmond's Sofia Barbulescu, 6-3, 6-2, in a 4-0 Fordham win. She then defeated VCU's T. Andrade Sabando, 1-6, 6-2, 6-3, on Saturday to help Fordham to a 4-2 victory.
 
In double action, Kolarevic teamed with Julianne Nguyen to defeat William & Mary's Ine Stange and Hedda Gurholt, 6-3, and Richmond's Andrea Campeonato and Lara Bakhaya, 7-6 (7-3)
