BRONX, N.Y. – Bringing home a trio of awards Tuesday, Fordham University Women's Basketball saw Taylor Donaldson, Taya Davis, and Rose Nelson bring home Academic All-District honors as announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Recognizing some of the top academic performing student-athletes in the nation, the Fordham trio served as some of the top performers for the Rams on the court and in the classroom.
Donaldson, named a Third-Team All-Conference selection by the Atlantic 10 at season's end, finished fourth in the league with 16.3 points per game, and ended the year averaging 2.16 steals per game, third best in the conference.
Davis finished her second year in Maroon and White as well, leading the team with 4.7 assists per game, including dishing out a career-high 13 in a single game. That mark placed Davis second best of any player in the A-10, and 60th best of any player in Division I this season.
