Atlantic 10 Release
 
Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham University freshman Catalina Padilla Udaeta (Cochabamba, Bolivia) was named Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week for matches played from February 10-16 it was announced by the league office today.
 
Padilla won the clinching match at Davidson as the Rams defeated the Wildcats, 4-3, on Saturday at Davidson. She upended Davidson's Ines Roti at sixth singles in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, to help the Rams take a 4-2 lead and win the match.
 
In Fordham's other match on the week, Padilla took the first set from Clemson's Gaia Parravicini, 6-3, and was tied in the second, 2-2, when the match ended as the Rams fell to the Tigers, 4-0.
 
The Rams return to action on Saturday, March 1, as they travel to Fairfax, Va., to face George Mason University at 6:45 p.m.
