Davidson, N.C. – (October 5, 2025) – The Fordham Rams scored twice in the first half, while the Davidson Wildcats posted two goals in the second half, as the teams played to a 2-2 women's soccer draw at Alumni Stadium.
Fordham moved to 7-4-2 overall and 2-2-1 in Atlantic 10 action.
THE GAME
- Fordham opened the scoring when Julia Acosta put home her own rebound shot for her third goal of the season in the 14th minute.
- The Rams increased their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Riley Carroll, her second goal of the season, in the 41st minute, as she got by a defender in the box and scored just under the crossbar.
- Davidson got on the board to make it a 2-1 game on S.J. Pak's 61st minute goal, with the assist going to Dakota Lyons.
- The Wildcats then knotted it up at 2-2 with a 74th minute goal from Lyons, sliding a shot just under the arm of an outstretched Fordham goalkeeper.
GAME NOTES
- Kyla King recorded four saves for the Rams.
- Fordham moved to 6-1-3 all-time against Davidson.
